THERE IS STILL HOPE

the man and i have been reading "lord of the rings" and i thought this was fitting and didn't need much explanation. have a happy day and enjoy and remember there is still good to be found in the world.

“The world is indeed full of peril and in it there are many dark places.
But still there is much that is fair. And though in all lands, love is now
mingled with grief, it still grows, perhaps, the greater.”

- J.RR Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings

  1. My son Jordan had a ritual of reading the trilogy every Christmas holiday by the fire. (At least all the way through college.)
It is because of lines like these that he must have found it renewing.
Having just seen the Hobbit, I wish there was less time spent on the battles and more on philosophy.
I will never forget the first time I read it ,pregnant with my first child.it was magical, and of course still is.Thanks Anna
