THE BATTLE

i have been really trying to figure out what the best thing for me is going to be in terms of working out. we all know that the above sticker defines me to a T! in the last months of my pregnancy i got pregnancy induced carpel tunnel...and well it still hasn't gone away, so while the last time i rode my bike was amazing, i couldn't feel my hands the majority of the time which kind of freaked me out. needless to say until that is taken care of i have to find something else to do.

i have been focusing a lot on diet. trying to figure out better healthier alternatives to what i normally eat and that is going well. i have started eating oatmeal for breakfast (today it had ground flax, chia seeds, and a little protein powder in it) it was good and fills you up! last night i made veggie stir fry with quinoa rather than white rice and did not use any oil in the veggies. it was red pepper, green pepper, onion, green bean, and carrot with a little sodium reduced soy sauce, a little brown sugar, rice vinegar and hot mustard. turned out pretty good. so i think we have the food in order (now that the holidays are over,) but it is that exercise battle i have fought my whole life.if you have any ideas i am open to them!

today i may just go for a run, just for kicks and see how it goes....it may be the only option. i will let you know what i end up doing today.

  2. Do you have access to a gym, or a pool? Swimming is great, even if you aren't a great swimmer, kicking with a kick board is a good workout too!
