A LITTLE SCARE

Sorry for no actual post today, we were in the ER all night last night with this sweet little girl. She must have her mama's throat which means CROUP! I was cursed with the croup quite often when i was younger and she woke up last night unable to really breathe. I didn't know what to do, she was crying so hard and wouldn't settle down and couldn't get air in. It was so scary. I called my mom, we had no idea where the hospital was and so we called 911. We made it to the hospital and after a few scary hours, breathing treatments and steroids we were free to go back home.

She is still not feeling well today, but she is still smiley. She lights up my life! She is walking and just growing up so fast. Tonight I feel blessed and happy that my little girl is safe and okay.

  1. Rachel's son Ezra had that earlier this year and they had to take him to the ER-he got the same treatment as Ophelia. It's a very scary situation as you said. You did the right thing. Hope she recovers quickly.

  2. I can relate to your scare and it is really good news that doctors were able to help. And she is such a little beauty! All the best.
