WEEKLY UPDATE

yes that is right, my muscles hurt. i went to the gym yesterday and well, when you work out for the first time in a long time, it doesn't feel too great, but then again it feels amazing! i know i actually did something to make my legs burn. (that would be squats and running on the elliptical) arms are also sore, thanks to not being able to find smaller weights where i was working out...oh well. it was all in all a great experience and i will be in there again today with all the new years resolution folk!

i laughed really hard because when i walked in the man at the front counter said "Someone had a baby!" yep i did, i'm sure i looked a bit different than my nine month pregnant self the last time i was there.

life is going great as usual, couldn't be happier (that is a lie, but i'm very happy with the way things are right now, we are hoping for some changes in the next year that would make us even more happy!), but until then, we are doing great. the little one is growing and sleeping through the night! (a mothers dream!) she is smiling and beginning to coo which i find is the most incredible sound. we are now all recovered from christmas and we spent the new year at home watching a movie and just relaxing! i wouldn't have it any other way! My dad asked what we were doing and i said "the same thing we do every night" i said, "we will eat dinner, and just relax" it is our favorite thing to do and when you already do exactly what you want there is no need to do something out of the ordinary for celebration. so last night like most nights was just perfect!

i am continuing to love being home and being a mom and am crossing my fingers that things will work out so i can continue to stay home. i'm looking forward to the new year and am so excited to see what it has in store for us!

I still haven't "set goals" for this new year and so as soon as i do i will let you know, until then Happy New Year and have a happy day!
