AN INTRODUCTION

Welcome to "a land called anna lee." I am so excited for you all to join me each day to share in the things that i LOVE! First of all, my name is Anna Lee. When I was younger my mom used to play the guitar and sing "Puff the Magic Dragon" to me and my five siblings. As time passed my brothers eventually changed the words to "and frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called ANNA LEE." That is where the name came from.
A little about me, just as a brief introduction. I was born in New Mexico, grew up in a small town in Eastern Oregon, eventually moved to Idaho and Hawaii where i studied Recreational Management and Anthropology. I graduated in 2007 with my BS in Recreational Management. After that I was a missionary in Germany and Austria for a year and a half. I learned German which i am sadly and quickly losing. I currently live in California where I have worked as a bike mechanic and in bike sales for the last 1 1/2 years. I love my job and i love cycling among many many many other things, like cooking, working out, design, and of course playing. That is what this blog is all about. FOOD, FITNESS, FAMILY, and LEARNING NEW THINGS. I am currently on maternity leave because I welcomed my first child into the world about two weeks ago. I am so in love with this little girl I can hardly even contain myself. She is absolutely perfect and beautiful.

Thank you Kilean Todd for capturing this day so beautifully for us. We love you. Check out more of Kilean's work at www.kileantodd.com.
So as you can see, I'm a new mom with lots of loves, but will now be juggling that with caring for "the little one" and "the man." Feel free to join me on the journey! Welcome to the LAND OF ANNA LEE!

  2. Hey nice new blog, and new baby too. I agree with Mary, it's nice to see some good ol' blogging rather than Facebook.

  3. SO excited for this blog, Anna. I can read and "feel" the joy that comes from every last word you say. I have tears right now... Thank you for sharing your life. You live and share it well. Happy blogging :)

  4. Anna, my baby Olivia is 19 months and as the tears came back, as I read about your love you have for your new little one. I still feel the same love you talk of. Motherhood is the most precious and amazing thing to ever experiance. Charish every moment they grow so fast.
